(5)Monday October 8, 2001 - THE ROOF PANELS ARE ON ! THE ROOF PANELS ARE ON ! Yes, the roof is finally in place. The crew will finish the ridge and put tar paper on it in the morning. Also Andrew and I went out and wrapped the walls with tar paper and put in 6 windows. It is starting to look like a house now.

(4)Tuesday October 9, 2001 - Andrew and I put the last two windows in today and the building crew didn't show up at all for some reason ?????

(0)Wednesday October 10, 2001 - Well, they got tar paper on most of the roof. Hopefully they will finish it tomorrow. I am not sure when they will finish all the work they have left either. The tree trimmers from the power company have cleared the right of way for the electric lines. It has only been 15 weeks since I applied for the connections so hopefully I will have electricity before I move in.

(0)Thursday October 11, 2001 - The crew did not show up again. I guess the rain scared them off. They claim that that they will bring about 6 guys and finish on Saturday. I will believe it when I see it.

(0)Friday October 12, 2001 - No crew today either. Andrew and I are taking the day off to do something fun. We went canoeing on the Guadalupe river in New Braunfels.

(0)Sunday October 14, 2001 - Same as yesterday.
